Welcome to Outrun the Night RP! On this page, you will find basic tutorials for the new player experience. If you want to learn more about the starter jobs we have, please check out our Civilian Jobs Tutorial page! Below, we have information on our character creation, clothing, and some of our features for players to use. Feel free to use the navigation tool to the right or continue to scroll.Â
Start by looking for the slight transparent model and select New Character.
First add in your character details. You can always go back and change this before finalizing the character.
Here you can pick a PED model through the custom model, or pick a male or female body type to start editing.
Face changes the structure and Skin changes skin tone. Play with the Mix and add in a Third!
On the next page, you can change your hair, makeup, and facial features.
You can use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out and use left click to move the camera or use on of the presets.
At the bottom of the Face, you have many sliders to make changes to more specific parts of your characters face.
Put some clothes on! You can also pick your undergarments for the outfit.
For Tattoos, select undergarments to remove your clothing and test tattoos in List 1.
Find one you like? Click the arrow to move it to List 2 and enjoy your fresh ink!
Once satisfied, hit finalize. You can visit the hospital for plastic surgery.
Welcome to Los Santos! You will want to head to your right to exit LS International Airport.
Head towards the Baggage claim to the exit.
Outside the entrance, you can find the car rental. Go up to him and press E to see what he has.
You should have enough money to rent any of these.
To see the plastic surgeon, you will want to head to Ocean Medical Center on Playa View.
Head towards the Receptionist desk on the ground floor.
At the dest, take a right.
Head towards these double doors.
Take the door labeled stairs up to the First Floor. You only have to go up one set of doors.
Once you step onto the first floor, look for Consulting Room 1. It is facing the waiting room.
Hello Dr. Bartelby! The plastic surgeon is in Consulting Room 1.
Once you are in the room, look for the white circle on the floor and head towards it.
Hit E once you are in the circle and you will be able to edit your character once again.
When you head into the Barber Shop, find the white circle and hit E.
You can take off pieces of your outfit and change your camera at the top.
Change your hair and your hair colors and then scroll down.
Further down, you can change your cosmetics and skin textures, like scars and wrinkles.
You can also make changes to your character's face with these sliders.
Hairstyles are connected to outfits. This allows you to have different hairstyles saved.
You can select your outfits or delete it.
Once you are happy with your new look, make sure you hit finalize to pay.
Number changes are $5 each. Changes to colors are free.
When you enter a clothing store, find the white circle on the floor and hit E.
Camera controls are on the top. You can also select undergarments to change those with the outfit.
You can put your hands up to check for any clipping issues.
Making an outfit will charge you for your outfit, which is $5 per item change.
The cart displays your changes. You can remove or mix and match as needed.
Finalize your outfit!
Some tattoo shops may be locked. Those that are unlocked will have the white circle you can press E on.
You can select undergarments to have an easier time seeing your tattoos.
Select a tattoo in List 1 to preview what it will look like. You can select multiple at a time.
Use the middle arrows to move tattoos to List 2, which saves them when you finalize.

Tattoos are also saved by outfits. You will want to go back and change your outfits to include new ink.
Make sure you finalize and pay for your tattoo.
When you hit your radial menu, Tilda (~) by default, you can hover over emotes you have saved.
In your radial menu, you can go to the settings at the bottom right.
In the settings, you can customize the emotes you have preset.
Add a label and the emote you want to play and decide where you want it in the list.
The next time you use your radial menu, it should appear where you placed it.
In the radial settings, you can do more to edit your menu.
Add the command you would like. Make sure you format it for the chat (T) box.
Added commands appear in a list on the left. Adjust them with settings open.
You can drag it in place, or make changes to the specific command.
Now when I use my radial menu, I can quickly set a scene.
You can also set a status in the radial setting menu. On the left, select Status.
Here you can add a status and see how long they have until they delete. Select Add Glance for a new one.
Fill in the information. Input the duration in minutes. Then you can save your status.
This is now an active status.
To see Statuses, you go to your radial menu, then hover player. Select Toggle Statuses.
Statuses appear above your head for those with the toggle on.
This is the further distance a status can be seen.
